Google Earth Compatable

1 December 2010

That's correct. You can now draw shapes and lines, and mark points in Google Earth, and import directly into both our newly released TM465, and also our latest release of TM Flight.

You can also export maps you have created with the TracMap unit, and export them for viewing directly in Google Earth and Google Maps.

This is an exciting new enhancement to the capability of a guidance system already regarded by many as world leading.

For users, it makes it considerably easier to send people to treat areas without confusion or error. For many people the simple to use imagery of Google Earth has revolutionised how they can see and plan their activities. When combined with a TracMap unit, it transfers that ability to people working outdoors who need a simple and robust device for guidance and data capture.

The process makes use of Google Earth's ability to create shapes and marks on screen, and then export those shapes as a KML file.
